I Know Karate and Kung Fu and many other foreign
I Know Karate and Kung Fu and many other foreign Martial arts have become incredibly popular in the United States. Drive through any little strip shopping center in nearly every town and you? Probably back to Martial Arts Studio. There are dozens of styles to choose from. Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Taekwondo, Tai Chi. How did it happen? I think that? And in part because Americans are so competitive. For many, a martial art is just a sport. They move the rows of belt color to another, until finally you? King on top, and you? Once again, the black belt in karate. There is also a good exercise. Many of us do not? T get nearly enough exercise. But if we succeed in a small martial arts touament friendly and work at the same time, we can truly that.In in the East, where the martial arts out there? Saturday, slightly 'more than just a sport or exercise. Martial Arts are a physical part of a spiritual discipline, to teach us how to live better and happier people. They believe that our body needs for our health temple spirits. Monks in monasteries leaed about the martial arts. I don? T know of any practice Catholicism. Do you? You can, but I never heard of it.In Karate and martial arts, we bow deeply to our opponents before and after the game. Why is this so? All martial arts from any decent school student can tell you that you honor the other person. They honor their dexterity. It is honored as a spiritual being on earth. It's honor for the honor of match.I opinion practice of karate and other martial arts really add something sacred to our American understanding of human beings. And yes, we get to compete and a little 'practice, too.About this writerAiko Mettarod from Japan with his parents as a child. His father was his first teacher of karate.
