Benefits of Kata Practice I was recently reading a forum where the question was whether Kata had a place in mode karate. As you can imagine, there were opinions for and against. Most of the opinions in favor only on the exteal benefits of the disaster, and those against the tendency to rigidity and lack of practical application of Kata. While I disagree with most positive comments, including some of had a negative point, but also some significant advantages in the practice of careful Kata.In addition to the power and technology, the experience is one of most important factors in a physical confrontation.
